MOV Youth Leaders

Snow Camp

Every January, the MOV Youth Leaders hosts an epic weekend at Parchment Valley in Ripley, WV for students from all over the Mid-Ohio Valley and beyond.

In 2025, about 330 middle and high school students and youth ministry leaders from 16 different local churches came together to worship, grow in their faith, and play some of the most outrageous games imaginable.

See You Preview

Every year, See You At the Pole is held on the fourth Wednesday of September. Students gather around their school’s flagpole that morning to pray for their schools, families, friends, and nation. As a student led event, it’s important for students to be equipped with a plan and resources to make it happen.

That’s where the See You Preview comes in. For several years, more than half a dozen youth groups around the MOV have gathered at the Escape the Sunday prior to See You At the Pole to encourage and equip students to lead a meaningful prayer time at their school.

Great Friday

Great Friday is all about serving others to celebrate the sacrifice Jesus made for us on Good Friday. Students from all over the Mid-Ohio Valley join together for an evening of worship, fun, and service projects.

In 2025, middle and high school students packed 10,000 meals with Rise Against Hunger and built 20 playhouses for Habitat for Humanity. The unique thing about the evening is that students don’t just attend - students also run it. This year, worship was led by a student band, the gospel message was presented by a local high school senior, and students from PHS's The Forge talked about life with Jesus as everyone shared a meal.

A program was also offered to parent-accompanied children, preschool age and up. The kids worshiped with the middle and high school students and had their own kid-friendly activities in between.
